We’re delighted to have kicked off Neighbourhood as Incubator, our grassroots learning program aimed at exploring and developing 'enterprising' ideas in Anfield and Everton. The program is designed to help create a thriving neighborhood where people and communities can live, work, and play.

On Monday, participants came together for the first time to discuss their ideas—what’s already working for them, their desires, and the challenges they face.

Facilitated by Britt Jurgenson, co-founder of Homebaked CLT, the group engaged in an 'action learning' style session. Participants shared and listened to one another's project ideas, with the workshop focused on encouraging confidence-building and offering supportive advice in the form of "thought-style" gifts to one another.

The 'enterprising ideas' ranged from a community cinema and creative craft space to a drop-in crisis café, menopause education, group acupuncture, and local wellbeing walks and talks.

We’ll be following the progress of our participants over the coming months, examining how they develop their ideas through one-on-one mentoring, group workshops, network-building, and trialling their concepts. We can’t wait to see each of these ideas grow!
